Brendan was born in Dublin, Ireland one of nine children, his parents moved to Manchester, England when he was two years old. He started dancing at age seven with Saint Chads School under the direction of Betty Kelly (RIP) winning the worlds under 11. Years later his family moved back to Galway, Ireland where he danced for Hession School and Scoil Rince Dal gcais winning many competitive titles before moving to the states by the age of 20.
Brendan now lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife and 3 children, where he runs the Brady Academy of Irish Dance. He is honored to be judging the 2010 World Irish Dancing Championships, and wishes An Coimisiun, Competitors, and Teachers every success at this prestige event.
