I started dancing at the age of 3 winning my first championship at the age of 5. I continued to dance in many feisanna winning lots of titles. I was also lucky enough to take part in figure, ceili and dance drama at all major championships where our teams gained first place for many years.
I was bullied by my big sister Bernadette into taking my TCRG (as she kept telling me it is a good thing to do), which thanks to her, and my mum I successfully passed back in 1996. We now teach together in the successful Trainor School in London together with our niece Katrina, and now I’m hooked and absolutely love teaching our kids but sometimes feel this takes over my life !!!
Thanks to my mum, Peggy she kept me going in this mad world we are all part of, and I wouldn’t have stuck at it if it wasn’t for her. I am married to Shane and we have a beautiful daughter called Tilly who is already making up her own form of dance!
