Kevin Broesler

Kevin Broesler teaches Irish dance up and down the east coast of the United States. Kevin a former world medal holder and national champion opened his first school in New York in 1986. He followed with a school in Maryland on 1988 and in New Jersey in 1994. In 2008 the Broesler School expanded into the Philadelphia area and into Delaware in 2009. The expansion of the school has been marked by the success enjoyed by many of Kevin’s students at regional and national competitions and the world dancing championships.
Many of the students that Kevin has coached have performed in River Dance, Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames. Kevin has performed at the White House and on stage with the Chieftains and Cherish the Ladies. He helped teach Irish dance to Cher and Ryan O’Neal and appeared in their movie Faithful. He can also be seen in Shania Twain’s video “Don’t Be Stupid”. In 2004, Kevin was honored by Irish American Magazine as one of its Top 100 Irish Americans. In 2005, The Broesler School was named the top Irish Dancing School in the United States by Irish Dancing and Culture Magazine.
Kevin started Irish dancing with Jerry Mulvihill and later With Donny Golden. While going to college in London he studied under Griffin-O’loughlin. He lives in New Jersey with his wife Catherine(Jennings) and their four children Ryan, Breanna, Neeve and Brendan.
