Sheila was born in Co. Cork Ireland, moved to England at age 17 & in 1964 she immigrated to America with her husband Bill. She has two daughters, Cheryl & Shannon and three grandchildren, Mairead, Shaela & Jessica who bring great joy to her life. . Daughter Shannon is a TCRG & is a partner with Mom at the Shamrock School of Irish Dance llc.
Sheila Stevens TCRG-ADCRG established the Shamrock School of Irish Dance in 1977, and acquired her TCRG & ADCRG in 1980. She has been an active teacher and Adjudicator for the past 30 years. Sheila has been very active in the New England Region serving on the Executive Board as Regional Director. Sheila also served on the IDTANA Board as President.
In addition to her Irish dancing career, Sheila is also an R.N. B.S.N. She worked in the nursing field for 25 years & is now retired from nursing.
