Angela McDonagh, originally from Tuam, now living in Corofin, Co. Galway has been immersed in all things Gaelic since a very young age. Married to John, they have three children and have passed on this same love of our Irish language, music and dance.
Their two sons and daughter are all accomplished musicians, having won major awards at Fleadh Ceoil na hÉireann.
The fact that my mother Patricia Cowhie-Ryan is an Irish Dancing Teacher made it impossible for any member of my Family growing up not to Dance. I went one step further than my siblings and joined the School as a TCRG in 1985.
Through a lot of hard work and complete dedication we went on to have major successes in the school winning numerous Regional, National Titles and culminating in a total of 13 World Solo titles. Many of these dancers went on to take starring roles in all of the Major shows.
She is the principal teacher of Evans School of Dancing and has been teaching for 20 years and adjudicating for 14 years. She has had pupils that have won Ulster and National titles in both solo and figure championships and placed at All Ireland,British, American and World Championships.
Ann started dancing at the age of 5 with the Phoebe Cullen S.D. in Maynooth/Dublin. After moving to Galway at the age of 9, continued her dancing career with the Hession S.D., where she competed at Oireachtas Rince Chonnacht, Oireachtas Rince nahÉireann and Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne in both solo & team competitions.
After receiving her TCRG in 1997 Ann began teaching with Angela McDonagh who is also adjudicating at this prestigious event. They both teach under the McDonagh-Byrne S.D. along with Lorraine Farrell (Ann's sister), Derek Fahy and Veronica Guinan (Angela's sister).

She was born and reared in Limerick City on the banks of the Shannon . She started dancing at age 6 and from then dancing has been a consuming passion. She likes every form of dance, especially tap and tango (after Irish Dancing of course!)
She spent many happy wonderful years in the Nolan School where she was a very successful competitor and has lots of happy memories. She won the Senior Ladies Munster Championship twice, first in its inaugural year 1968. She won the famed Munster belt in 1970 and was third in the Senior Ladies at the very first Oireactas Rince na Cruinne.
Sean Flynn is one of eight children and grew up in the Bronx, New York. Sean danced for the famous McLoughlin School of New York and New Jersey where he excelled at all levels of competitions in Solo, Ceili and Figure dancing. Sean teaches with his sister Bridget Flynn Reidy in Yonkers and Riverdale, New York. Sean has judged the American Nationals and Regional Qualifying's on many occasions and also judged the Great Britain's in 2007.
I guess I owe my great skill and passion for dancing firstly to my late mum, Mary, who introduced me to the Irish dancing arena and secondly to my teachers Maura Bennett and Kevin Armstrong. Maura, a great champion
Laura began her dancing career at age ten with Mae Butler in Toronto , Canada . Laura had a very successful competitive career winning many local, regional and North American Championship titles.
Laura received her TCRG in 1975 and ADCRG in 1980 and she currently enjoys adjudicating all levels of competition.
I commenced Irish Dancing at the age of 6 at the convent school with my sisters Patsy and Marie. Our paternal grandmother Mary Moore came from Rhode County Offally and this had an influence on our lives. My teacher was Thelma Harris RIP she had a very successful school in Sydney some years later Erin O'Daly RIP opened her school.
My memories of irish dancing as a child are full of happiness, entertaining Irish and Australians of Irish descent at concerts and in Convalescent Homes, competitions were a small part if our lives. I was blessed to have a very successful career in Eisteddfods , St. Patrick's Day sports and NSW state and Australian Championships .
Born in Drogheda, Co Louth, I was a pupil of the late Harry McCaffrey. On retiring from competitive dancing; I taught dancing in Dublin and Drogheda for 6 years, during which time I produced Ulster and All Ireland Champions.
In 1975, I migrated to Australia where I lived firstly in Melbourne , the n Adelaide and now reside on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
I was born in Manchester UK and started dancing at a young age with the Grainger School. The sisters Brenda, Regina and Maureen were wonderful teachers and role models.
I was one of their first students to pass my TCRG in Dublin in the early 1970s. Just before emigrating to New Zealand in 1982 with my husband and two children I achieved my ADCRG in London.
I retired after 35 years from the United States Foreign Service, being on the permanent logistical support team for The White House Communications Agency and all Security Agencies of the US Government which included the FBI, US Secret Service and DEA, providing support to Presidential, Vice Presidential and Secretary of State and VIP visits to Ireland.
Some of the highlights were, being a personal assistant to Governor Reagan in his visit to Ireland as Governor of California and later, on his visit to Ireland as President, being a member of the logistical support team to the Secret
I was born in Manchester , England . My Father was from Co. Wexford, Éire and my Mother was from Manchester . Both sets of Grandparents originate from Co. Wexford.
I was a pupil of Rose Fitzgibbon for many years prior to becoming a TCRG.
I qualified as an Adjudicator in 1993 and have adjudicated extensively throughout the UK , Ireland , Scotland , Europe , US and Canada .
I danced for Frances Teece in Glasgow and danced figures and ceili for Owen McAuley, when he joined Frances. After taking my TCRG, I taught with my sister Eileen until I moved to Ireland where I opened another class, Rinceoiri an Earigail. I passed my ADCRG and have been enjoying adjudicating all over the world.
