The fact that my mother Patricia Cowhie-Ryan is an Irish Dancing Teacher made it impossible for any member of my Family growing up not to Dance. I went one step further than my siblings and joined the School as a TCRG in 1985. Through a lot of hard work and complete dedication we went on to have major successes in the school winning numerous Regional, National Titles and culminating in a total of 13 World Solo titles. Many of these dancers went on to take starring roles in all of the Major shows.

Since I qualified as an Adjudicator in 1989 I have adjudicated extensively throughout the World and I was delighted and honoured to be chosen to adjudicate at this year's Oireachtas Rince Na Cruinne. An event I have always enjoyed and I am certain that this year will be no different.
