12.35am : Well the awards have been given and the majority of people have vacated the main hall. This concludes the 5th day of the World Irish Dancing Championships here in The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. We shall return tomorrow morning for our very 1st competition of the day Competition No. 24 Ladies 17-18 at 8am. 12.15am : The presentation ceremony is beginning for the girls16-17, they have been called side stage 12.05am : Competition 25 Girls 16 - 17
A more detailed list is now available in the results section 11.55pm : The results are being announced in the main hall at the moment 11.25pm : That concludes the Girls 16-17 Competition No25 11pm : Strathclyde Hall is packed full as the set recalls continue. In the practice area is 109 Julianne Costigan (Doyle, Ontario, Canada) preparing to take to the stage for her 3rd round 10.45pm : Presently on stage is 77 Suzanne coyle (McLaughlin, Glasgow) 10.30pm : The recalls are continuing in quick succession as 46 Clare McDermott (Ard-Rialla, Louth/Cavan) exits the set hall

8.50pm : Recalls for Competition 25 Girls 16 - 17 shall be given shortly 8.45pm : Proceedings have been interrupted to double check results 8.43pm : The results for Competition 5 the Boys 16 - 17 are now being announced in the main hall 8:13pm : The girls 16 - 17 2nd round is progressing with dancers 59 Megan Largy (Steel, Surrey, Canada) and 60 Leeza Eriksen (O'Sullivan, aukland NZ) on stage.
6.52pm: The last two competitors of the 1st round are now dancing. 46 Clare McDermott (Ard-Rialla, Louth/Cavan) and Franki James-Roberts (Margaret Mcaleer, Yorkshire) 6:45pm We have 8 dancers left to complete their first round in the Girls 16 - 17. The girls are beginning to assemble back stage for the light round which will follow on immediately the first round is complete. 6.15pm : We are nearing the end of the Girls 16-17 competition as 12 emily George (Claddagh, California) and 13 amanda McHugh (Petri, NY) walk onto the stage. that leaves 36 girls left to dance their heavy dance. 6.10pm : Just off stage are competitors 119 Alicia Aileen Anderson (Clarkson, Missouri USA) and 120 Sinead Kiely (Ryan, Tipperary)
6pm : Backstage the girls are awaiting their turn to do their heavy round
5.35pm : We are right at the half way point of the girls competion since currently on stage are competitors 107 Katie Giles (Feely, Kildare) and 108 Julie Wamser (Gray, New England USA) 5.12pm : Presently dancing their heavy round on stage is 76 Emily Lupiano (Sue Fay Healy, Ontario, Canada) and Suzanne Coyle (McLaughlin, Glasgow)
4.55pm : The Girls 16-17 is now underway and backstage the girls waiting to dance are stretching
4.35pm : The Competition 25 Girls 16 - 17 is just about to start now. Our starting numbers are 48 Claire Cassidy (Ui She, Dublin) and 49 Laura Neary (Sylvan Kelly, Mayo)
4.30pm : Our adjudicators are just getting seated. They are Marie Moore Cunniffe, Mary Devaney Folan, Mike McInerney, Terry O'Connor, Des Silke, Margaret McBride and Lisa Waites 4.27pm : Our musicians Martin Daly and Brian O'Sullivan are just getting warmed up for the next Competition No.25 Girls 16 - 17 first round - heavy

4pm : Girls Ceili 13 - 16
3.45pm : The results are currently being called in the main hall the Girls Ceili 13-16. We'll inform you just as soon aswe have them 3.30pm : In order to relieve some congestion in the hall the results for the Girls Ceili 13-16 is going to be called in the hall shortly 3.27pm : Competition No. 25 Girls 16-17 is due to commence and the girls have been called stage 3.23pm : The last boy in the recalls is now dancing his set in the recall hall -24 James Keating (Doherty, Coventry) 3.21pm : The last figure 7 Doherty-Reid from Belfast are on the stage at the moment 3.15pm : The Girls Figure 13-16 is now nearing the end as team 5 the Kennedy School from Belfast leave the stage after dancing out their story about 'the two pennies' and the Titanic. That leaves only two figures left to dance with the penultimate team 6 Doherty team fro Coventry now on stage

2.18pm : First up is Team 8 Ard-Rialla from Cavan 2.14pm : The boys recall is currently being called in the hall and they are being asked to go immediately to the recall hall 2.13pm : Competition 54 : Girls figure 13 -16 is just about to begin in the main hall 2.11pm : We're currently awaiting recall numbers for the boys 16-17 which will take place in the Strathclyde Suite 1.58pm : That concludes the 2 rounds of Competition 44 Girls Junior Ceili 13-16 1.46pm : We are nearing the end of the second round of the recalls as 12 McCarron Ceili team from birmingham have just taking to the stage to dance St Patrick's day 1.35pm : Just finishing their recall round is 56 Scanlon Junior Ceili from Birmingham 1.15pm : Literally walking into the auditorium and onto the satge to dance their St Patrick's Day is 48 Caroline Greene Ceili from Glasgow
1.08pm : Next to take the stage is No. 41 McDonagh-Byrne from Galway
12.48pm : Girls Ceili team 30 Ard-Rialla are dancing St Patrick's Day at the moment 12.40pm : The Girls Ceili teams waiting backstage for the second round

10.45am : Competition number 5 is starting now and the first to take to the stage is competitors 43 Blaine Donovan (McTeggart, Colorado USA) and 44 Shane Cummins (Tuamhumhan, Limerick) 10.33: That concludes the first round of the junior Girls Ceili 10.20am : The last 2 teams for the 1st round of competition are waiting side stage 10:05am Just finishing their Cross Reel Team 44 the Ui She School Dublin 9.11am : Presently dancing the High Cauled Cap is 24 Kidd-Cieslak Junior Girls Ceili Team from Stirlingshire as 23 Rince na hEireann from North Carolina USA leave the stage after dancing the 8 hand jig 8.34am : Just off stage is team 7 Clann na Gael, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne 8.21am : Competitors 2 Matthews from Coventry are currently walking onto the stage to dance the cross reel 8.10am : Our adjudicators for this morning are Tony Nolan, Phyllis Cronin Ryan, Conleth Mullan, Charles Moore, Brendan O'Brien, Stella Moore &Phoebe O'Donoghue 8.05am : Mr Dan Armstrong, our MC for the competition calls everyone to their seats for 53 Stewart, Glasgow to take to the stage 8am : Our musicians for the day are Gerry Conlon and Seamus O'Sullivan 7.55am : The Junior girls Ceili teams have been called side stage and they are stretching and getting warmed up.
